Lol pretty sure you could give a hat a day away and still have enough for a lifetime.

Fair bit of progress. Everything has been glassed in and the hull has come out of the mould this morning!

Quick update - 120L fuel tank went in yesterday.

Things should really start to take shape in the coming weeks!

Looks great mate, do you still plan to do all your comps in this?
If so do you have any concerns or pre-conceived ideas apart from top speed that may be a disadvantage when compared to your old bass boat?
I just wonder why there are so many bass boats out there when you could have this!

Absolutely mate!

120L livewell as well, big casting deck, rod locker etc...

More and more people are now seeing the light and switching over to these types of hulls, to be able to still do your snapper/kingies and even tuna, but also do bream comps and still be competitive.

What i will lose will be some top speed and getting into super shallow water - it just won't draft as shallow as the Skeeter did, but i never fished too shallow anyway, so not overly fussed - it was mostly to go in and get a snagged lure off

Cheers,
Paul

Going for a 150 four stroke. Either the Merc or Suzuki I'd say.

There's one down here in Vic now with a 150 Honda but with a T top and they've got it to 86km already. Would be happy with 85-90 with no T-top

I have now! Nice!! That boat boogies with the 150 Merc!

But definitely going the Centre console option. Not fussed about the minor weight difference but it's good to know! Cheers for the heads up about those videos!
