Hi Kim,

Yanks are big big flathead.
Yes you do have to negotiate open water, but its not that bad. I wont be up there 'til the end of the year now, around Nov-Dec. I usually take my tinny in there out from the Lake Wonboyn entrance. You can put your 'yaks in at a beach called Greenglades it will save you about 4 ks travel.

Hey Greggo1, what are you using to catch the sandies (sandworms)? A mate and me went to up the north and we don't got nothing in the way of the sandies (sandworms).

damn....thats a nice looking river.

i like to think the yarra looked like that 150 years ago, heheh

will have to have a squiz next time i'm up that way...i'm a tad partial to some seasonal kingfishin'
