Panasonic Lumix FT2 need help

Hi fellas i just bought myself a lumix ft2 underwater camera
and im having a little trouble.
I loaded the application disc onto my pc
its called PHOTOfunSTUDIO 5.0.... now once the app loading was complete
i went to click on the browser the studio came up on the screen
then it comes up that windows is not responding to the app.
My question is...do i need special requirments to run this stuidio

I have Adobe reader X ...to enable me to read the manual
my pc has windows vista and every time i go to check on line for a
solution the application/studio disapears off the screen.

I have uninstalled the program and re installed it twice now im starting
to think i may need some sort of support file.
This is the only hickup in my pc so im thinking its no virus etc.

Was wondering if anyone else has had the problem at all and
could help me in some way.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

cheers
jase

I have the same camera but i run windows XP and have no dramas running the program. The only thing i can suggest is load the program on your PC again, just check when you do that there isn't 2 different load programs. One for Vista and one for XP and so forth.

Once you load the program see if it wants to update it via the internet, as there maybe a patch for it to run on windows vista.

Cheers for now

Thanks riverbotz did try reloading and none of the following options for xp or vista came up did google problems for the suite and noticed many others have had the same problem.
Noticed a version 5.1 to the studio...you would think panisonic would provide
it with the camera lol.
May i ask what version you loaded was it a update or the version 5.0 that came in the box with the cam.

Still having troubles with it will try load the new version tho i have read
that users are still having the same problems.

thanks for your response

Did the picasso.....its only good for images

need something for HD recording edit.

If i cant solve the problem by tomorrow
cameras going back...looks like the software
that panisonic provides with the LUMIX FT2
is completely useless according to many
photo editing sites ive looked at.
Found many others had the same problem
with the SW panisonic provides just keeps crashing.

Might have to look at the olympus.

Is there much difference between the two at all?
