They look a little less plump than a Camion. Either way, if they work just as well as the Camion did, there'll be quite a few in the tackle box.

Maybe you could put the black and white together and put a little magpie on them and premiers 2010

How much do they weigh? Also do they have a slim profile, or are they more like a Smith Camion?

you could even cast that little black cranka with a strong current past some pylons and imatate a fluttering mussle floating by.
i really like the look of all the colours that have been shown on the thread......i cant wait until summer

Do the designers at Cranka have a popper on the cards?

A shallow Jerk bait
would be a nice addition too.

Hi all

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Crayfish, at this stage we do not have a popper as such planned but we do have a walker style surface lure planned for the future.

Bonyetty, I have never had one of our eyes even come close to coming off and have never heard of anyone who has! Dan and I have been fishing prototype Cranka's for years now and we have never had an eye come off, so i guess that's about as good a guarantee as you will get!

Coby, you are spot on mate they are less plump than a Camion and in the hand they are a completely different looking lure. In time once we have taken good pics of all our color range from all angles (as we have done with our shads on the Cranka website) I am sure all who think it looks like a Camion will see clearly that they are a very different looking and shaped lure. In some ways we are glad to hear people are comparing them to a Camion as camion's are a fantastic little lure IMO!

Fisherman #1, we currently have test models in 3 different weight configurations ranging from floaters through to slow sinkers but the mid range is around the 3.2 - 3.4gram mark and i will give final weights once we have finalized testing procedures.

These new Crank's are so finely balanced that at this stage the initial production model will in all likelihood suspend in brackish waters, very slowly sink in pure fresh and very slowly float in full salt that is how delicate the balance is on this lure design. We believe this to be the best scenario for the market our lures target.

We at Cranka are very discerning anglers ourselves who will not release any lure models until we are sure that they meet a very high standard of performance, after all it is our name and our reputations that are ridding on the back of our lures!

Hope this answers some of your questions and concerns

Cheers
Steersy

Candy colour
There is some discussion about the blue patch on this new colour maybe you could give your thoughts on it.

Cheers Da breamer

Can always count on the SA boys to give the new stuff a real go.
I personally cant wait to start fishing these Crank's over the summer, I am sure they will do the damage they are intended to do.
