Hi Rowboat, I am in a similar situation. I am looking to upgrade my boat. I have had a chance to compare various brands and models over the last couple of years. After all the research, viewing and talking to people I am settled on a Bluefin Wildcat Pro. I am not worried about handling a 4.5m tinny on my own, I used to handle a 5.7m fibreglass 3/4 cab that's about 4 times the weight on my own without issue. I was originally very keen on the Drifter Tournament Pro but after a lot of consideration and being able to go out the bay more comfortably and safer, had to choose the Wildcat.
I fish 90% on my own so I will be getting the right trailer to suit that, I believe the Bluefins offer trailer options so more than likely I will check those out. I am aiming for a long enough draw bar that I can back the boat in and then drive the boat on/off the trailer. I am sick of wearing waders half the year. Also working out what motor brand and size I am going to choose and get the funds organized.
I spotted 3 Wildcats where I fished on the weekend and seen 2 loading and they were able to just drive the boat on without issue (I guess it depends on the launching facilities really). Talking to the owners they just had nothing but great things to say about them. I was worried about stability when fishing and walking around the boat but after having the chance to go for a test run they are very stable.
