Stella C2000 HGS spool

Has anyone had any experience using this size spool on a 1000FE reel? and was it of value? Regards, HBt.

Hey Dean, I had those same sized spools on all my 1000FEs. They were C2000M spools, same diam but larger capacity. Yes they are a larger diam than a regular 1000 spool but by what? A couple of mm? i forget. I didnt notice any real difference, mainly because i dont fish hardly ever and sold all my FE's anyway.

Why did i replace all the spools with those?

Because even if i couldnt physically notice any improvement in performance, theoretically there should have been one....

As far as I know it's a 2mm larger diameter...
