2" Hawg

Can anybody give me some tips on fishing one of these. I have never used one before.

Thread them onto the jighead as like any other plastic. They should lie flat as if it is representing a yabby or crayfish.

When you retrieve them, I like to give a few small and quick tiny flicks and then pause. Vary your retrieve rates and pauses as well as the number of flicks of the rod you make. Keep them short and sweet.

You basically make it out as if it's hopping along and escaping a predator like they seem to do.

Sometimes if the bream or other species you're chasing are a little finicky, I like to do a hop-pause retrieve. And you'll find they'll normally take it on the down.

They are a great little SP, but unfortunately for whatever reason the US guys have, they are out of circulation....... ashame.

Kamikazeghost has hit the nail on the head there these lil babys are one of my fave plastics just remember to fish them on light jig heads i normaly use a 1/32 or 1/24 so there sink nice and slow.
