Windy Saturday flick

Hey guys,

As you South Oz guys know, it's been blowing a gale this morning which made fishing the eastern side of the Pat impossible, so fished off the west side this morning, all kitted up with my Ozzie SP (green with gold glitter).
After a few casts got snagged, so I thought it'd be a good chance to try out a flick worm I'd made last night to see if it was any good.

Second cast and whallah...... Chewy's home made plastics strike again

A beautiful little 45cm Mully, which is my first from the Pat (Sorry HBT!).
It was nice to jump on the Mickyj wagon......

Nothing else from the Pat except for a couple of small hits. Tried Sturt gorge for a donut before going home for a nice hot coffee and a slice of apple cinnamon cake!!

Cheers,

Yeah the fins are nowhere near as yellow as the ones from the Onk.

Wasn't the greatest morning to be out. HBT had caught 3 early on and a ST while near me but I left shortly after that.

Sure was a windy old weekend here in South Oz.
Even West Lakes was tricky on the wrong side of the wind.
