Soft Plastic Raider or Berkley DropShot?

Hi guys,
I've got a choice between an Ian Miller Soft Plastic Raider II or a Berkley Dropshot top of the range. Which one do you think is better?

Thanks,
Anders

You think? Would it go well with a Stradic CI4 2500?

Instead of buying a $200+ reel you could get a $200 rod and a $150 reel. Trust me you would not regret it.

I used to own the 2pc 1-3kg (gen 3).
It was just really nice to use, especially for the $90 i bought it for. It was able to cast light plastics a decent distance and was just a good overall rod.

Which ever rod you can find the cheapest. If the same price whichever you think looks coolest. Picking between the 2 rods you mentioned and the trions as well, is like trying to pick Bolt Blake or Powell in the 100 tomorrow. They're all as good as eachother

Yep, raider soft plastics are a sweet rod for the price.

Hey old bar boy...do you mean millers, as in the custom made miller rods made by Ian himself, or do you mean the raider system designed by miller with his signature? Personally there are chalk and cheese...one is a $600+ and one is a $120.

I had a raider, mexican fire rod for ages. perfect rod, if they still made them the same way, i'd own 5 by now.

I'd also own a drop shot, which is now my missus' rod. Its ok, I don't really like it but i'm not sure why.

The trion, i used to love! i picked mine up the other day and i now think its a noodly piece of junk. I guess i'm used to a more stiffer, powerful rod in the samaki range that I use.

Check out the Samaki allure or skitch ranges of rods, nice and cheap but still excellent quality and great value.
