I think i paid approx $60 per 1200 x 2400 sheet of the 12mm from my local hardware store and the 9mm was left over from when i did my last boat.
I didn't seal the ply as this isn't the final design, there will be some modifications coming up in the future which will require me to re-do all the decks anyway so i saw it as a waste of time for what i had planned. Stay tuned in the next 12 months or so when i get around to doing it and i will post up the process again.
As for how its holding up, i use it once or twice a week and has had a total of approx 200 hours on the water, 95% of that on the leccy fishing , and its holding up extremely well.
I have since put some lean seats in and a sounder up the front on the leccy (which makes it soooooo much easier) and gearing up for the first round of our southern series in 2 weeks time.
Hope this helps.
