Vertical rod storage in the boat

I recently installed a Berkley rod storage product in front of the center console of my boat to keep rods in that weren't in use. The Berkley shite was not worth the money and already they are busted after two trips.

What do other users suggest, I can screw something to the console and bottom piece I can screw to the hatch cover on the floor. Any suggestions?

Dave

i hd a rapala vertical rod rack which clipped on to the rod blank holding in place very securely, never had issues with it not working nor did it ever damage a rod over many yrs. i went with this model because i never liked rod holder which used foam.

My Berkley holder has been on the side of my console for 15 years. Is it the one with the locking mechanism that you turn to hold the rods in place?
