Hey guys, my birthday is coming up soon and I'm wanting a new rod. Which is good lite rod about 1-3kg.

Cheers Liam.

DSR820s $269 and is 2-4kg
But if $250 is the absolute max, then lox yoshi.
I have both and the DSR is a lot better and still light.

I have narrowed it down to a lox, Gl2 and a black label versatile.

no offense to aussie retailers.... but never underestimate ebay my friend for rods and reels (just saying) ive bought alot of loomis rods off ebay all my GLXs anyway as long as you use paypal!!! PayPal is a must to protect your self from scams. most rods are sent in PVC tubes theres a guy is QLD who sells Rods/Reels cheap as just always check feedback rating.
having said that check classifieds on this forum great deals come up all the time! and your not likely to get stuffed around as long as people can give them a reference.
