The chubbys are a great deep diver, but I'm not sure sure about using jackalls when you're just starting out. Personally, start out on the baby vibes and work up from there.

Unless your loaded and can afford $30 a pop whilst running the risk of snagging them. Check out some of the R2S lures, good value catchers, if you want a bit more bling for your buck check the ecogear VT55s

Chubbies
HI Coastie
Mate I have had great success on the deep diving chubbie in the Ayu colour, last friday I caught 6 fish, 2 undersize with the biggest going 36 to the fork and the others were in the 29 - 31 range to fork. The chubbies work a treat.I would include some photo's but I'm a bit of a gumby when it comes to uploading images to websites.I managed to get some on the Ausbream site under the topic Lake Macquarie strikes again you can have a look there. |
