Looks like a top weekend with plenty of crackers in the bags.

What is the water temp there at the moment? a few of you guys seem happy enough to get wet feet, I know I wouldn't be so keen doing the same over here at the minute.
Water is about 9 degrees here

Water temp on my sounder was about 13 degrees in some spots. Alot of fresh running down, but that salt is still down below. Bear even doing 60 it hurts, but not so much with a big wool and polar fleece lining hunting jacket and a balaclava

Amazing fishing. Never been seen before bag weights... 4 fish for 4.57kg is massive. And god knows how many fish over 1.3kg.

Thanks everyone for the great weekend

Team social 19th&20th

Hi all,

Thanks to Brad for organising the comp, I had a great time.
Thanks to all the gentleman whom introduced themselves over the weekend to me, and made me feel like an equal.

Bear, youre a star and a valuable asset to all the Breaming fishermen/women out there. He did well to put up with my "singing to the fish shenanagins" and loud verbal spouting when I caught a fish.
Stuart, you were very helpful with showing me your rockwall fishn technique and I hope your electric motor pulls up alright, youre snag realeases skills are legendary.
Shane, I am sorry I didnt bring the big ones to the boat today & thanks for putting up with my out of sorts day. Youre cool head was very much appreciated and for us new fisherman you are a great example of positive mind gets you fish.

I hope I am welcome to fish wish you gentleman again, it would be a real honour for me.

As for a social comp, I had a great time & the fish caught over the weekend certainly put smiles on normal very serious faced fishermen.

Congratulations to Brad, Szarn, Sewelly & Dror, you make me want to keep coming back for more.

BreaminSuzie

What a weekend, thanks heaps to yatesy for organising the event.
Had a great time, fantastic bunch of people all out enjoying themselves.
I really struggled, but dont really care after being able to witness the monster bags being weighed in, it was just great to be a part of it all.
Seeing Dror grinning from ear to ear with his new PB, Sewelly and Yatesy with 4kg plus bags and Szarns absolute Monster on day one was pretty special. Watching Dave Oreilly pulling some pretty solid fish and getting smoked big time from under a restaurant where people were enjoying their lunch, was a real blast.
Well done everyone, look forward to doing it all again in the near future.
Cheers
YARDI

Yeah I second all said above. A top weekend with some simply awesome fish caught. To see so many fish over a kilo and Dror's 1.8kg monster made the weekend worth being at. And to see bags pulled over 4kg was amazing

Thanks to my teammates over the weekend Pete, Suzie and Gary who were all good company and all contributed to our bags in one way or another.

And finally thanks to Yatesy for all his organisation and efforts to make the weekend run so smoothly; great effort mate.

You have to love a comp run with no egos getting in the way of a good time. A great bunch of people to knock around with and I can only see this getting bigger and better in future. So if your sitting back thinking of entering next time get into it as you won't be disappointed.

Cheers all
