1980 4.4 hp rating

i need help! my boat is 4.4 meters and was built in the 1980's. im buying a new motor for it and if anyone knows the hp rating on this model could you please help out thanks!

my 4.3 brooker runabout (ally) only has a 20hp rating, althou the pervious owner had a 30 on it, braced transom, a photo or more info could help get a better diagnosis.

Who is it built by? people will need a fair bit more info to give the correct answer.

yeah sorry was trying to do it quick, it is a quintrex, it has a 30 on it and barley gets it on the plane i will be putting a 60 on it, it has no stickers or anything saying what it is rated to so i am realy not sure but either way this motor that im buying is going on it!

I had quick search few 80 models were for sale with 25hp
on them , u dont wanna put a motor too heavy on it.
so there no plate with details hidden somewhere

Id go to barclay's and ask them as they are quintrex dealers

does the 30 run ok? must be something wrong or the tub is made of lead to not perform, if you put a 60 on the back insurance is out of the question. id just be worried of getting wet from the wake coming over the transom on an arse heave boat!

I've seen some 4.4 quinnie fishabouts i think with 60hp 2 strokes on them, are you sure the motor is running okay ?
