HMAS UNTITLED’S MAIDEN VOYAGE

Well guys after a very long agonising wait the tinny has finally been completed.

I picked up the motor from its Service today with a new water pump housing and impellor whacked it on the boat and off i went to the river

I loaded it up with three other people to test its stability and for a V nose it handled it very well.
With a head wind and three people pushing the bow down it did cause a little splash but nothing noticeable.

Once everyone was out on dry land again i took it for a spin and rapped her right out. I figured out how to adjust the motor so that it would plane better and now i can actually see where I’m going.

Stability at rest was very good for such a small boat. I could walk around both decks with out any trouble at all.

What really toped off my trip was the fact that NOTHING went wrong for a change. The motor didn’t die at this certain spot of the river were every other motor of mine has :P
Launching and retrieving went according to plan with no screaming or aching body parts

Heres a picture of ‘Untitled’ (help me choose a name) in the water

cheers, Nathan

Or since its black you could call it night rider... I'm sure its got nearly as many gadgets and fancy things as the famous car.

On the serious side- it looks awesome.

Now theres an idea.

you could install a cheapo cassette deck and 6x9's in in with a tape of spiderbait's black betty.

imagine...

you pull up to these wicked chicks on the river in a fancy yacht and your ducking and weaving all over the place like that black hot rod, they call you over, ditch the rich creep they are with and join you bream fishing. I see no reason why that shouldn't make her name black betty right here and right now.

LOL
