Shimano biomaster

Does any one own one?
Are they worth the money?
What are your thoughts thinking about a 2500 sized model

I've got a 1000 for close up snag work on a dsrglx 820.
Beautiful reel, I got it for the slower ratio it has for hardbody work.
Won't disappoint, the 2500 has a japanese t handle, different looking reel they are quite classy in the flesh!
Only new Shimano with a spare spool too!

Ah yeah that what i want to put it on the DSR GLX and put the stella on the BSR GLX just juggling them haha. so as a loomis fan you would say they suit rather nice with them balance? i mean 2500 might be high for the dropshot but i dunno superstition maybe, i just like having heaps of line on a reel makes me feel reassured i guess hope what i said makes sense :/ just looking for a second opinion other option was a daiwa caldia but bio master is new so it would be nice to know if its worth getting instead!

You'll never run out of line mate, the 1000 holds 200m of 3lb or about 170 of 5lb braid!
I've found the 1000 good on the Dsr glx cause the 1st guide is extremely close to the reel, casts and winds smoother. Just my opinion

Mate I took it for a run this Arvo it is bloody awesome! Very very nice, it is up there near the Stella almost, actually shares heaps with the Stella just in black!
My bio is a 1000 and sustain 2500 so hard to compare but 1st impessions are the sustain is better.

All in all very happy I have been hanging out for ages for these new shimanos!

Yea mate for sure, I'd personally go a 3000 for the bigger grip and spool capacity. 10lb braid snapper/ Jew/ salmon etc!
