With regards to belly weighted hooks, U can poke a hole thru the nose of the placci and then just push the eye thru. Its usually a better option to pushing the weight thru the plastic, particulary with heavier hence larger weights. Obviously to change a plastic this way u will need to re-tie however I still have a beef with the whole belly weight system. Fine for rolling swimbaits but dropping and twitchin curl tails should be head weighted imo. What little fish swims down belly first?

If you are rolling your lure through snags then yes the pinch weights would be ok. But head weighted placcy makes more sense more natutal on the fall and u can still slow roll.
