Back water bassing......

OK guys been a little while since iv been on...

Been busy with work and other stuff.... Got away last weekend for an exploration of some new country in the top reaches of the clarence and had a ball ..... Some of the hardest and toughest country iv ever fished.....

Fished a bit of everything surface divers and spinnerbait. ... The bites were tough to come by but was lucky enough to land one nice one on a 1/2 ounce high pitcher .....

Will be planning more trips when I get some spare time and the misses let's me off the hook.....

Nice stuff mate. Good work. I've fished around Ashford a bit before, chasing Murray Cod, and half the fun is the scenery, it's amazing. Can imagine the upper Clarence would be quite the same. I can't wait to make it down that way one day.
Is the upper Clarence able to be accessed publicly, or is it mostly private property?

Hoping there is some easy accessible parts, National Parks I guess?

Yeh it's fairly accessible there is a guy that opens his place up for camping etc I stayed there its cheap as cheap and he has over 12 km s of river frontage including the gorge area which is amazing sights......

I can tell ya but up and down over 10 boulders really take it out of ya
