aluminium angle or c section, cut the ends to same profile as ribs and tig weld or rivet in place...

Hey Coota,

Funny enough I have been doing the same thing to my Kipper.

Braces are all welded in (thanks work) and I went back a bit from the seat to have some extra storage space.

I left a bit at the back for the tank and the battery sits in the other hatch.

Plyed and carpeted all round to keep it uniform. Used fibreglass reinforced ply (thanks again work) .
