In that price range One of the Major Craft Volkeys would just about be impossible to beat they are meant to be one of the best finesse B/C rods on the maket and fall right within your price range. I'm thinking of getting one in the future.

Quite a few poeple on here have them so im sure others will agree

Nix88,

As Redfinfisho mentioned, Majorcraft Volkey BFS rods are fantastic for there price and match up very nicely with "small" BC reels.

I have 2. First one I got here in the classifieds and second from Plat in Japan. Plat are fantastic, great communication and quick delivery. The Volkey also comes in a 2 piece, so freight is quite cheap. Came well protected in a PVC pipe

See here:

Good luck with your purchase, any questions just ask. Also PM Martin (MCYL) he has a lot of info.

Cheers

Rob

I'd also recommend looking at the Abu Salty Stage KR-X Bait Finesse series. I picked up the SBFC-6102ULS-KR, and I must say I'm pretty impressed with the attention to detail, especially for the price.
