Normally there are a few last minute entry's. I say, Put your entry in and see what happens.
You will never get in if you don't enter.

Not too much of a difference. I'd expect another 10-20 boats to enter in the next couple of weeks. Entries fully refundable if ABT can't get you a ride.

Cheers,

SM

Sorry to high jack your post but I'm also in need of a boater for guaranteed entry, If anyone else hasn't placed their form in I would appreciate placing my details on their form. Last year I missed out twice due to insufficient number of boaters, and would hate for it to happen again. Thank you Marek

Gonna say this guys,

If there is an event that you want to fish as a non boater. Get your entry in early otherwise be prepared to be dissapointed.

I don't like this garranteed entry thing. To me it's just like jumping the queue.

There is still a couple of weeks and no doubt more boaters yet to enter, so there may be a spot for you.

No dig at any one guys.

Plan your events and get your entry in early .. it's the best and safest way to secure a seat.

Steve .. Do previous tournament results impact your chances of gaining a place ?

I would suspect alot of sydney guys are still to enter as well. Not too far for those guys to travel.

Lets get this clear if you get your entry in early you are guaranteed entry pretty much ?

I use to think they just get all the non boaters and it was luck of the draw

Its order of entry until all of the free places on boats are filled! Once the field is full and entry is closed off, then it is random draw for NBs.

No, If you enter with a mate you will be randomly paired with two other boaters...

you will never fish with your mate.
