Miller for sure mate. My best mate has a Camoufish Blademaster and the build quality is simply incredible.

Personally, Loomis DSR820S GLX is hard to beat. Also just purchased a LOOMIS TSR862-2 GLX which is a bit more subtle and user friendly. However, what a great choice LOOMIS and MILLER - whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed but if it is LOOMIS - I would strongly recommend paying extra for GLX.

I'd think that'd be the other way round..... build quality on the Loomis' range for average to shocking IMO.

The warranty options make the Loomis ok on paper, and the expeditor (that's a replacement service, not a warranty) is great, but I am sure Ian would provide some backup service as well. Plus the available design/component options far surpass Loomis anything Loomis offer.

if u wanna fish with peace of mind knowing ur tackle's the best performing gear and if anything happens u get xpeditor plan so u won't lose 800 bucks shutting the door on ur rod. go GLX
btw, buy no loomis that's not GLX

and if u want best performance and best built rods, go megabass, evergreen temujin and top of the range major craft rods.

as for millerrods, it's good if u wanna support local. if that's not really an issue, i'd stay VERY FAR from them

Totally agree with the above statement. Take a good hard look at any Gloomis & you can tell it is a mass produced rod. The miller is custom made & has a very strong reputation. I guess they are similar in price but just compare the components used on both rods, eg sic guides vs alconites, basic handle vs fuji handle & its pretty obvious which ones a better deal. IMO out of the 2 listed the miller would be the go hands down.

All these guys saying to stay away from Miller rods is there an actual reason or is it personal opinion? And just to make sure, are we talking about the bream busters or off the shelf tcurves/raiders? I've never heard a bad word about these rods till I read this post.
