Bream fly rods

Hi Guys,

What wait is the Norm for Fly fishing for bream? i have a 7Wt and a 8-10Wt (8-10 not for bream) that should be on there way soon and was thinking if the 7 is ok for bream fishing? I am more interested in targeting bigger stuff on fly but would like to give bream a crack!

Deacon

7wt would probably be as heavy as I would go, ideally I reckon a 4/5 wt would be better / more fun. I myself use a 6wt and I tend to feel that its a touch heavy on some occassions, but then again its nice to have some "pulling power".

Maybe consider under-rating it with 5 or 6 weight line?
