bream boat statistics

hey all im hopefull;y going to be buying a bream boat very soon and was just wondering what u consider to be the most important lengths-loa,internal,widths-beam,etc and height-height of sides, etc on bream boats as well as must haves eg-sounders,leccys foot controlled/transom mount etc.lets just assume we will not be fishing abt comps, its all in the name of comfort and practicality.thanks in advance for all your replies,ba

Bream Addict

My biggest requirement in the size area was that it would fit in my garage. The 4.1 poly fits with about 10 cm spare.

A must have for bream fishing is the electric, personally i wouldnt think of anything but a foot operated bowmount, but alot of guys use the transom mount, i think this one is a personal thing aswell as how much money you have. Just make sure you have an electric of some kind, it can be very difficult with out it.

Live well is also a handy thing to have, i dont fish comps but i use my live well all the time, it's great to see what you end up with at the end of a session.

Sounds are a handy tool to have but i know alot of guys that dont have them. Where i fish its 2 shallow to use as a fishfinder it more of a navigational tool.

Make sure you have some nice cumfy chairs and enough HP to get you around with out to much fuss.

Cheers
Chris
