mine was a bream of about 25cm or so. caught on a gold glitter atomic single tail, thanks warren

its a good feeling to know for yourself that they work. doesnt matter what else you have read or seen, till you catch that first fish its all theory.

afterwards its all practise

cheers pete

Mine's in the picture on the left. It was a real thrill I can tell you. Broadwater, Gold Coast. 2" white squidgie single tail.

Gotta love it!

hi danny
you will have to show me a photo of your flattie some time. my first fish on plastics was a heap of salmon at hells gates down in tassie on a holiday on a cheap orange crystal creek plastics then i had a break from plastics for about 1 and a half years and then caught my first bream on plastics about a year ago on a pumpkin seed slider since then i use plastics more than hardbodies and have caught a fair few species on them.

My first fish on plastics was the Barra shown caught at Tommy Cut in the Mary River, NT.

Had a ball this day, this guy was the first after 3 casts.

I can't remember whether it was a Flatty or a Flounder, on an old Mr Twister about 16 or so years ago - that's where my obsession with artificials started

The Mr Twisters worked a treat back then, the Sussex Inlet Flatties loved 'em to bits (Literally )

Cheers,

My first fish was a bream but it was undersize.
My first legal fish was a ripper at 1.5kg which i sight casted to on an atomic gold glitter!
Thanx warren for the advice to buy the gold glitters as they along with the baby craws have been the most effective lure on bream for me!

Yeh,
I have to say that mine was also a teeny itty bitty flatty caught on an old dodgy rod that my old man gave me to "play" with when i couldn't be bothered trying to spear toadies !!
Somewhere in the Hawksbury system, no doubt ,on one of our Chrissy Hols on a house boat,
ah they where the days
later ,
Kris

Flathead from the Bega River on a Chartreuse Double Tail many many years ago. I think it was around the 1kg mark.

Cheers
