Eyeball Tail action

I was just browsing the eyeball tails thread hoping to find what sort of action an eye ball tail impsrts but couldn't find any... An example would be the paddle tail type SPs like slider have a tight wiggling action and a single tail grub has a tail that flutters and make it look like a fish swimming. Bass minnows have very subtle body action but it moves like a sick/injured baitfish. What sort of action does the eyeball tail have?

I fish eyeball tails by deadsticking them most of the time, they sit head down on the bottom and the tail "wafts" back and forth. Kinda like a worm sticking up from the sand.
The slightest switch of the rod tip sends them crazy.
