yeah im pretty sure they are wat u would call salted, they are heavily scented anyway.
BTW-if u fish them round pylons etc use as little weight as possible, they have an awesome drop on them

Yeah there great lures. The 2" is ment to be better. If you can get hold of the Japan Green colour your in great luck.

Dave W loves them and so do allot of the other NSW guys.

Cheers, Nathan

I have used these on Lake Macquarie in NSW with great success. Not only on bream, but whiting and flounder loved them.

I was just wondering if they come with "bio" salt in the packets. Picked up a few packs today from Big W and realised that there were no salt granules inside the packet unlike the bass minnows hence my query. The 2 inch baulky hawg variety contains salt granules in the pack.

Not sure if they are salty, but the packet said they were for bass .... :S

Berkley is an American owned company. Therfore there lures are probably designed for there large mouth bass. I think there a copy of a different lure made by a lure company called Zoom. The lure was a well known competition winner and most of the big lure companies brang out a simalair lure. The orifganal lure was the Baby Brushogs. They re a great lure and won me my first bass competition in South Africa. So really those Hawgs probably were designed for bass. just my 2ce
