Here are some shots of my first fish caught from a kayak. The Bream wasn't to big but a lot of fun.We hired a couple of FUN kayaks that we could play around in the surf with aswell. Not the fastest but got you out into some fairly remote spots. I have been thinking of getting a kayak of my own and have researched a bit on the internet. The only falt I could find with this style of fishing was that being so low to the water it was hard to get a good idea of the structure that you are fishing unless you wre very close to it. Apart from that it was a great way to get out fishing cheaply. The tailor were great fun to catch and as i was in the middle of the lake on such a small kayak made it all the more fun.The tailor were towing me arond the place. I was using a squidgee bass rod and 4 pound fireline with a small wire trace and a wonder wobbler. The bream was caught on a brown trout sguidgee after no luck on bass minnows.
