rapala mini fat raps

any one use mini fatrap's for bream - i havent seen rapalas used very much except in offshore angling and usually the larger ones , such as magnums and shadraps

sorry for the double post

anyway
rapala has experimented in the past with a range of colours and ive seen a fair few variations to what they are currently selling.
eg: a red/white, black white with a big black dot on the back of the lure, chartreuse (they still produce this colour in other ranges)
and my favorite a metallic blue silver (looks a lot like a small mulie)
that they seem to have stopped producing in the fat rap as well.

the interesting thing about these is that they sink, and their action is not overly visible, and in fact ive had a lot of success with bass by just letting the lure sink to the bottom and working it like a SP.

they are very small , comparible to a rebel tiny craw in size, but they have surprising weight and can even be cast with a light baitcasting outfit.

i rekon these will be really effective, anyone used them on bream before?

Looking at the bib angle, i would say they are too shallow diving for bream. Not saying they wont have a go at it, but the water would have to be in the 1m depth range i would say. JMO

You can probly change it to floating by removing the front hook.

its actually a sinking lure so you can work it at any depth you like and thats the beauty of it. (theres zero bouyancy so removing the front hook only makes it less snaggy)
