Spinner baits

I noticed on that TV program that spinner baits are the go for some people. Last year a friend of mine who fishes Golden Perch contests in deep water dams etc, like Tallawa in NSW wanted to try a fly that copied a spinner bait. I sent him a copy of the details of a pattern from the USA and he translated it into a spinner bait fly for goldens. It works very well, and catches fish up to 13lbs which is prety big for godens. Anyway I offer the pic. You could try something like that its a mix of plastic tail, maribou and mylar. Not all that big.

Never tried it on fly, but had some success with a plastic\spinner combination. Can't see why it wouldn't.

hehe that looks like something that would eat a bream not the other way round

no kidding - what i like about marabou is that when its wet it is so lifelike and its profile reduces a lot from when its dry
these things should be the goods for flatties , im not sure about bream though
