No barb?

In my desperation to get some 1/32 jig heads I got home and realised that they had no babr to hold the plastic on. Any idea's, apart from superglue, do hold the SP's on?

I would'nt be too concerned, most plastics stay on the hook very well with out the need of a keeper barb.

Some keeper barb/collars just put big holes in the plastic and when it does get moved on the hook and you try to pull it back up it is now to loose to use.

Mick is right. My friend makes his own jigs by crimping spitshot onto jighooks. He doesn't bother with putting keeper barbs on. Apart from having to adjust the plastic every now and then he's happy without them.

If you want a barb you can make them out of bent bits of wire and tie them to your jig.
