Carry a spare prop and kit

Hi Friends,

I have a Motor Guide lecky motor. Last year I lost the prop and nut into the depths. Made fishing less enjoyable, I was away from home and it was approaching Xmas, with some phoning I Managed to get a replacement within 3 days to continue my fishing.

Never again, so I bought an extra prop etc to carry as a spare,

So far not needed it.

If you forget to pull the electric motor up out of the water and motor off using your outboard this loosens the nut and it is good bye to you prop.

Recntly I was away, fishing two guys told me their sad story "it was great fishing until a disaster we lost our prop from our lecy"

They offered a large sum to buy my spare (but sadly as wont go without a spare could not help them.

So if you have a motor guide christmas shut down soon buy yourself a spare prop set around 70 dollars.
