Night Sliders

Just wondering if anyone fishes softs at night, if so what and where. I haven't had any luck after dark, using white squidgies and muscadine Sliders. Sould I be using glows or trying different terrain to pylons, sand flats and murky water????

Cheers
Pete

G'day Pete,
I've had a bit of luck before and as the sun comes up (not proper night fishing) with the Black with Glow Tail Sliders but haven't really pursued the night-time option enough - I will over the next few weeks though

Cheers,

Hardbodies Pete! Get something shiny on a night with lots of moon, and fish the flats. Ira was telling me about one night when he scored about 27 bream on hardbodies at night, in a very short space of time. Worth a shot!

Or try glow plastics... If you want something that is a good daytime lure as well then the Ecogear grass minnow pink shrimp colour performs well in the day (pink) and at night (green glow).

Hi Pete and again well done in Albany mate, you showed us how it's done.
I am thinking of having a few night sorties now that summer has hit. There are a few spots around the Perth area to have a go at and I think and i'll try the "glow plastics". Let me know how you get on and hopefull we may figure it out.

Another thing and I think you are having a go at it Chris is poppers for bream. I think it would be mad to see them smash a popper. There is a nice bee's nest "somewhere" overhanging on a river that might go ok with a few rocks thrown it to stir them up.

Pete, I've caught bream on hard bodies at night so it can be done. I know a guy that fishes plastics at night just like baits with a little twitch every now and then.

Also a little birdy tells me that one Nick & Geoff have been getting a few nice bream on lures at night.

Nicks been going okay and he reckons the sneaky 35's with a rattle seem to work better at night. He's even had the bream picking them up when they are sitting still.

Also you can buy the glow paint and paint it on hard bodies......mmmmmmm now theres a thought..........

Where will bream on lures end! Soon we will be catching them two at a time on suspending dropper rigs! ahhahahahah
