A 40 would easy get you around just a 50hp would be great for when your fully loaded. Only problem there is the big price jump.

Is there any reason why your going for the 4stroke?! id go for a 2 stroke if your not going to be trolling other wise its just a waste of money that could be spent on a bigger motor.

cheers, Nathan

Im not going to bag any boats at all.. Ive owned a Hornet and now own a Poly and have been out in an Edge tracker many times. Each boat has its good and bad qualities. Everyone here will tell you what their favorite boat is, some even if they have never owned one or been in one, but it all boils down to what you feel comfortable in. There are plenty of dealers that will take you out in there boats or if you are in Perth then head down to the Mandurah Boat Show on Sunday and you will see some of the nicest bream boats around.
A couple of Full Boars, a Poly or 3 I think at least 1 Edge Tracker and even a Stacer Bara Elite (if Don goes).
Buy what you can afford and what you feel comfortable in.
Buying a boat is something not to be taken lightly. Especially if it is a new one. Try them all and then some before you make up your mind.
One thing I will say about your list tho. All of them do deserve a 50hp motor, especially the poly as it is marginally heavier than the other 2
