After many endless days of preparation to ensure a smooth finish for the boat, Raffi has sprayed my baby.
The paints used are : Ford XR Blueprint blended into Ford XR Phantom purple.

Its looking good Breamaholic.

The best thing is Raffi must be getting close to starting mine if yours is painted

Where abouts are you based?? We will have to organise a day on the water when mine is ready to go.

Nice boat then you put the curse on it using FORD colours. If its anything like the V8 Super cars there will be one super quick rig but all the others will get hosed off by the opposition

Ive been thinking about having an Elegant built painted in some of those classic 70s Torana colours like linamint (XU1) or the Barbados Green (SLR and L34).
Look forward to seeing the final product.

"YUMMY"

Breamaholic,
I finally got around and scoped your boat today. And mate it is BEAUTIFUL. I'm sure you will be stoked with the finish.
I'd have to say that hands down there is not another ally boat that comes within spitting distance of this thing. This thing out shines most glass boats for nice lines and presentation.

I love my boat, but put side by side it makes mine look like a station wagon parked next to a sportscar.

VERY VERY NICE

That's a friggin awesome looking ride.

I want one...

Do you have any idea how much the total unit will weigh? I'm trying to figure out if my car can handle a boat upgrade.

That's huge! My Liberty won't be pulling that.
I love the boat, you'll have to take me for a spin when you get it.

Id think that with all the fruit including a bow mount and 3 big batteries and a braked trailer with a 70 HP Suzuki that it would be 800kg minimum possible 900. Swoffa Id think a Liberty would tow that no problems I have a Forester XT and it can tow 1400kg according to the tow bar and Subaru but I wouldnt take more than 1000kg with it.

My car would pull it alright for short trips, but I wouldn't be heading up the coast with it. It's a good excuse to upgrade the car when I finally get a decent boat.

Hey Keith, Ive been thinking about a Forester (for when I finally get a boat!) - do you have any towing difficulties with it? Enough power to get up hills at speed etc etc?

Cheers

I've been meaning to ask you what you're driving at the moment Brent, since your car went wandering...

I was thinking of going for the Forrester next, I can't quite bring myself to go for a big 4WD like a Grand Cherokee, which is the other option I'm considering.
