Reel to suit C12 Gen II

Hi All,
Currently running a Samaki c12 Gen II 4-8lb rod, with a Stradic ci4 2500. Love the setup and balances out nice but having had the stradic for a few years its starting to get a bit of slop in it, so I'm looking for something a bit more refined to match up with the rod now. It's my go to bream setup as the local system is full of snags, normally run 4-6lb braid. Open to all suggestions on brands and sizes.
Chees Sam.

You could try a 1000 sustain, while it is smaller than the 2500 stradic you were using it has more drag and is a still as heavy as the stradic so will still balance well.

I have the same rod for the same scenario. I run either a Stradic Ci4+ or sustain fg 2500 and both work well.

Well it seems maybe I should just go the ci4+ 2500 then haha. Anyone know some where that still has a new stella 2500 fe? If I can get my hands on a new one I'll grab one but dont like my chances.

Love the Stella FE, such an awesome reel, love mine to death!
Though, I'll always have a soft spot for the Stradics.

Whitey might be able to order one in maybe? If not have a search on the web, I've seen second hand ones at reasonable prices pop up frequently.

Yeah checked with Whitey but no good.

Whats the differences between the Stradic ci4+ and Rarenium ci4+? Which would be better.
