What An Idiot!!!

So on Sunday i mowed the lawns an did a bit of a tidy up of the garage as it was bin night and in the process i believe i accidentally threw out my Stella FE 3000. I had it ready to sell to a forum member but must have somehow throw it in the bin with the other stuff. What an idiot i am.

Hopefully you've put it somewhere 'safe' and it will turn up when you're looking for something else.

If you have accidently thrown it out, maybe your house insurance might cover it. I remember one of my mates successfully made a claim when he managed to back his car over his rods he had left laying on his driveway. It could be worth checking out.

Yeah I have accidentally destroyed some gear. Fail reel dismantles, snapped tips, etc.

Everyone else share their tackle misfortunes?

So when we moved house the ex-wife unknown to me put her entire shoe collection in black bin bags in the hallway. Seriously how was I meant to know they weren't for the tip.

Not fishing related, I just enjoy re-telling that story.

While I feel your pain Jules I also spare a thought for the forum member that has missed out. I tried to find one of these and it is not easy ... even just an 3000 FE spool. Regards, HBt.

Hazards of the North. I was very lucky and both the megabass and evergreen rods that each accidentally had a run-in with the ceiling fan in my room in Darwin were solid tipped (albeit finesse) and no harm was done.
