Twinpower 2500S or 2500

After thinking about some feedback regarding reelse from some other guys here, I'm looking at buying JDM to really give Shimano a go. I want something good to see how much I like them and I can't afford a Stella.

I think the Twinpower 2500S suits my needs as I'll use it for bream, bass, flathead, up to maybe jewfish if I'm lucky. I'll probably use PE 0.6. Only unsure because of the difference in drag power, and reselling if I don't love it; maybe the 2500 is more popular.

Thoughts?

If you're planning on chasing Jews as well, go the 2500 for the extra line capacity.

I thought about that, but surely 200m of 0.6 is enough?

Resale on a jdm is a pretty niche market anyway. And that market will appreciate the shallow version.

200m is heaps of line. Never seen a soapy take more than 30m. And you wont be running much drag with 0.6. Buy the shallow one.

If it's soapys you're after, then 200m will be plenty. But if you're looking for the big boy's, like chopper said, you won't be able to run huge amounts of drag on PE 0.6 so you may need the extra line.

I guess it depends on what it's main purpose would be?

Not at a reasonable price mate. Braid is definitely best purchased from OS.

Quality 8 strands can be purchased here but they'll cost $90 plus. Sufix 832 etc is marginally cheaper but the 6lb is more suitable for taxiing small aircraft than fishing for bream

Haha not keen on that, nice and thin please.

How does the Twinpower compare to a Stradic/Rarenium Ci4+?
