Megabass Racing Condition

Hey guys, looking for some information on the megabass racing condition, looking at getting the spin 3-8lb going to do plastic work with it for bass, slow rolling etc and casting edges with small blades aswell. Just looking for some reviews from others who might have one ??

Hi Loomis23
I have the Megabass racing condition 3-8LB ( if anything this is underrated) and find it an awesome rod for what I do with it. Be aware it has the KR micro guide system and is rated to throw 14grams which may not suit some. The action is crisp without being a broomstick. I do not know how it will suit your method of Bass fishing but I do not see why not. Probably not the best rod for slow rolling but everything else should be just fine. I use mine for Flathead plastics fishing with larger jig heads as well as blading them on it with no difficulty. There are better rods in the Megabass stable but golly you pay for them, this is a great rod at a reasonable price.

Generally I would be using a softer tipped rod for slow rolling giving me lots more feel as to what the lure is doing. Every one has their own way of doing things, there is no right or wrong way or rod to use it all depends on how it is used I guess. This is my preference only others may do things differently.
