Flats rod?? Whos got one and what is it?

Hi Guys,

Looking to do some flats fishing this summer and really want to get more casting distance..so something around the 7'6 range..

Rods im looking at from Daiwa are -
Tournament master x interline - 2 piece TMX-I 762MLFS
Tournament Specialist Bream - 2 piece TNSB 762LFSOH
Black Label Finesse Tip - 2 piece
Team Daiwa x - 2 piece TDX 762ULFS

I have a TDX and a Black label already in 6ft ish and love them however they are 1 piece...I tend to stay away from 2 piece...

Any advice?

Thanks JB

hey james
I like to use a daiwa generation black drunken monkey 1to2 kg
with 2004 sol with 2 pound line

in my opinion I would go with a inter line rod as the are great at casting light weights long distances

I've recently bought a majorcraft skyroad 79 from a member and it's an absolute weapon, quality for the money. Beautiful taper for breaming especially considering it's length and is light as a feather. Thoroughly recommend it

hey mate i use my 7'6" TDX for flats work and its very good. its not really 2 piece as the blank plugs into the grip. The TDX 6'10" UL is a competent flats rod for hbs and surface also

Anyone know roughly what a 2nd hand Daiwa interline rod would be worth the z or the x? ive been doing some reading about them and they seem to be pretty good. anyone have any advice? good or bad?
