Megabass Cover Hacking 10CHL

Hi, Have absolutely no clue when it comes to baitcaster reels. But a mate of mine has offerred me one of these as a swap for one of my Fly Combo's (prob worth $400). Am thinking of it but cant find much info on the reel and its capabilities??? Any help would be appreciated

it's an expensive reel but definitely abit dated and not like your normal bc reels I don't have any experience with them maybe somebody else who has actually used one can shed some more info

Thanks.. Yeah everyone i have spoken to who have used BC reels , know about them but have never really seen or used them. My mate included.

This reel is based on the TDZ left grip. The unique thumb bar mechanism is designed for pitching and flipping. Hence Megabass named it "Cover Hacker". Of course you can cast it too. If you love Megabass, grab it. A unique piece for collection.

I've fished one and now I own one. It clutch is set on the frame for a pitching and flipping grip.

It's useless to 99% of Australia. However not to me. Hence its now mine

Lol...happens...early morning shopping spree after a big night. .
1/2 the time even I end up scratching my head with what to do with it.

I found one at Fishheads so I guess punters do use them.
