OSP Dunk 48 - Favourite colours
Just wondering what everyone's favourite colours were for clean and dirty water...
I'm a big fan of Green Craw, but looking to explore a few alternatives. Does anyone use the "Alive" colour range?

GF-76 Wakasagi has been my favorite for years... have caught fish on it in clear and Dirty water. H-23 Ginrin is a good murky water colour and my new personal favorite is my GK pimped ones in PJ Special

Green craw is a fantastic colour, I tend to use that colour for more dirtier water.
H-04 Crystal Gold, would have to be my favourite all round colour. Though I find that it really comes into it's own, on bright sunny days as the reflection from the sunlight really fires up the fish and gets their attention. P-45 Sunny Gill, is another good all round colour that seems to do well in both clear and dirty water conditions. GF-75 Wakasagi, is a brilliant clear water colour that always produce's when others aren't. But to be quite honest all the colours work wonderfully.

Around the 12ft mark depends on the water salinity levels.

3-4m depending also on leader strength, length and profile. Straight thru for most depth is the general opinions and consensus.
I personally like g-01 ghost minnows and p-23 tasty shad. Also like the Japan version of g-01, they have a ghost ayu pattern. |

Damn that's deep alright. Thanks lads.
Will be using 4lb line on 8lb leader I got the crystal gold color. I'm guessing beam don't shy away from the lure being this big. Any specific way to fish these. Specially for blacks Cheers |

A twitching retrieve works quite well on the blacks, brings out the aggressive strikes.
Though on some days when they are quite timid, a slow roll will be very hard for a black to resist the dunk!

Will try these moves and see what happens. I hope I don't snag it on the first cast. Cheers |
