Red face daiwa certate 2010 problem.

Got a few questions about my 1003 certate, i have a 2004 rcs spool on it, its got about 1kg of drag when its locked up, but when i put a 2000 size drag knob on it, its has alot more drag. What should i do?

Hi
I run a 10 Certate 2506H with the 2506 RCS I'ze spool and the info below may assist you with your issue.
The RCS 2506 spool comes with a washer that fits over the spool shaft on the top of the spool - without this washer there is minimal drag. The standard 2506H spool does not require this washer.

I have the same RCS 2004 spool as well but cant remember seeing another set of washers? saying that I haven't really looked (still in the box) so this will be good information for sure.

Yes I have a RCS 2004 as a spare for my 1003 tate and the extra washer is required to have any amount of drag.

Is this for real! i wondered why my drag washers kept jumping up and down, where was yours located when you bought it?

The washer was located under the foam base of the plastic screw box in a placcy bag.

Yep just got home from working away and there was 2 x washers in the plastic container for the spool...

Thanks for the tip- haven't used it but would have without for sure
