General purpose reel

Hi
I am looking to get a general purpose (fresh, estuary, light inshore) spinning or baitcaster. I have already posted about a spin reel, but not sure now. Price: $150-300. Preferably with a decent drag and line capacity. And preferably daiwa! I prefer the feel and ease of a baitcaster, but want to cats light lures like a spin. PLEASE HELP! Currently looking at a caldia, tatula, t3, sol II or a shimano stradic ci4+ or chronarch ci4+.
Tim

Can't really go wrong with a 2500 sustain, it ticks pretty much all of your boxes. You can pick them up for under $300 at the moment or $200 second hand.

Yeah the drag and line caps look tempting
If I can find one dirt cheap I'll get one but I already have heaps of shimanos and want to try something new.

Another option is Luvias 2506 or 2506H. Pretty hard to beat for under $270 from digitaka.

Depends on what models do you have.

Considering its current price, Sustain is a pretty good reel for the money. Mine served me well for two years of hard fishing. I looked after it well and serviced it often, it was still running like new when I sold it to a BM member not long ago.

Plus I also have a bc rod (raider bass) to go with it if I got a bc, which would be good.

I have a stradic fj, 2 hyperloops (I know, not very expensive) and an aernos.

Give the Luvias a go then, the 2510 version may suit you better than the 2506 if you a better want line capacity. or even a caldia, the new ones look pretty good and you could go a 2500.

If you already have a baitcast rod, then i'd go a tatula

Might get picked on for saying this, but i rate them higher than the new chronarch ci4, especially for the price

2500 rarenium for the two spools, making it easier to cover the light inshore to estuary and bream sides of things, as well as just being amazing little reels in general
