Zipbaits khamsin tiny dr

Hey guys what colours do u prefer in these for mainly yellow fins

The green ghost has served me well

And the hooks I change out as I've found they snap and bend pretty easy

Get onto Scott Butlers Fishing page on FB

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scott...15036715334091

He would be best placed perhaps to help here as he fishes similar water to you for yellows, loves his Khamsin Tiny's & uses them to great effect in the tournaments around that way.

pretty poor that you have to change the hooks on what is one of the more expensive lures on the market.

a lot of those smaller zippies are designed for freshwater so have the thinner gauged hooks apparently

Fished with Scott butler in one of the ABT's at Sydney harbour recently, he used the khamsin tiny's and educated me on how well they work on the hulls around that way. Blue gill is a killer!

I will stand corrected, but doesn't Mark Wilson claim that the Khamsin was designed by him exclusively for the Australian bream market ??????

So a lure that is designed for Australian bream, comes with hooks designed for freshwater, bit of a paradox there, now I'm confused.

Don't know exactly what you fellas are talking about but the zipbait khamsin Tiny's come standard with Owner St 36's in size 14 or 12 I believe and they are one of the most popular trebles on the market, and are also one of the stronger bream trebles available.

Were they well used/rusty because that can cause trebles to snap

I've got quite a few khamsins and they're a good lure, I prefer the riggie 35 deep F's more but they khamsins definitely have their place.
