Storm/Gomoku mojo rods

Ever since the release of the Gomoku jigging series i have been waiting for some of the spin range to be released.Well i walked into my local today and there they were, after a quick feel and a match up with a ci4+ i was sold, light as a feather and in the 6-12lb range will pull the house down.I only recently bought the samiki in the same range but had to match it with my Sol II 2508 for balance sake now i have a similar outfit at half the weight and at only 6ft will also do the job in the yak....get on it
cheers nereus

Hi, I also just acquired a blue colour rod...to be match with a Certate 3012 targeting snapper. Will try to blood it this weekend. Finger cross for the weather and sea condition. Been told by many anglers that they are great rod...love the price tag and weight...cant wait to try it out.

I've heard the blue series has some of the old bangers that come into the shop in shock, they bag it and the manager says hang onto this then and he loads it up and just about pulls them to their knees.......he reckons its a good laugh

Mines what i'd consider the spinning model the butt from reel seat is.....260mm,my newest samiki is 210mm.It is also a skeleton type split grip which i found quite comfortable on this rod(not so on others)so in this case i think the 260mm is an advantage but easily changed if you love the rod but not the butt length.i think the daiwa squirrel grip and monkey nuts??? have similar butts.I payed 150 but already had credit at the shop......she'll never know
cheers nereus

Is that the red one? Have been tempted to pick one up myself despite having no real use or need for it

that vid was just from googling Storm Mojo........theres not as much on there as i thought there would be but enough to get the idea
cheers nereus
ps the micro guides aren't too micro either so that suits me fine, also there is another heavier rod that comes in at 12-17lb or something like that.It didn't feel a lot different when loaded but lacked that bit of casting tip i like in the lighter unit.

Just watched the vid look like a nice rod butt dosen't look to long.
Nice and whippy but plenty of power also might have to invest in
One of these rods.

Cheers Shane .

Ok not the Gomoku but the Mojo. What will you be targeting with it for Nereus?

What amaze me with the storm rods is that they used Fuji K guide and reel seat...for the components it a bargain at the price

Well done nereus. I held one other day, short rods ? They are have a stiff tip but load up really well and crazy strong ? That canary yellow makes it look like a toy. Grips are comfy but definately a yak rod. I never casted it just loaded up by shop owner.
