I've had the 5-10 2 piece for about a year. Love it. Very crisp, fast action, k-guides etc. For about $190 posted from OS it's hard to beat.

Definitely my favourite rod.

You wont be disappointed with this rod. They are extremely well built with great components. Im currently using the 3-7lb model and find that its perfect for fishing structure with hard bodies and plastics, it is also great for deepwater applications. Very crisp and sensitive.

I have two, but the baitcast BFS rods. One is the 3-8lb and the other is the 4-12lb. I bought both from Japan and for the price, they're hard to go past. Light, sensitive, looks good and comes with good components.

I currently use the VKS-S682L/SFS. It has the solid tip which I think is similar to the megatop that daiwa has. Awesome plactics rod.

I've had 2 other volkkeys and now on my third, well worth the money if you get one off shimreels, plat etc. The days series is good as well.

He's on the water today mate (life's tough for some). He's got a number of them, all from Plat and all 2 piece models.

I just wouldn't be trusting a 2 piece for heavy structure work.
