Bass Yabbies?

Hi Guys,
What would be the best rig and way to fish these little guys in a river system!
Also what's the best way to present them on the hook?

Thanks in advance for any help

Mainly lures here, but I guess most of us started with bait. Light rod, Hook em in the tail with no weight over weed beds and sand flats.

Whiting Bream and flattie a love them, pity is they come of easy and little fish are all over them.

Try late in the arvo or when a bit of wind is puffing.

Cheers

For me i use a shimano raider 2-4kg rod, 1000 size reel and 4lb flurocarbon straight through to a 00 barrel sinker small black rolling swivel 30-40cm 5lb flurocarbon leader and a size 6 mustad long shank hook. Thread the hook down through the tail of the nipper untill it comes out just before the head. Cast ouy in the middle of a sand bank and wait.
