New combo question.

so in the next few weeks I am thinking of getting a new combo. now I want something light but also something that packs a punch and can be used for a few bigger salty and fresh fish. so I am putting a few ideas out and about. main note: NOT A SHIMANO FAN (bar stellas). sorry
BUDGET - $0-Max $1000

rods: 6'6'' - 7', 1-3 or 2-4 kg. would prefer K-series guides
rod options so far: I like the grips on my samurai 101 I would like a similar feel.
- Nordic stage sharp shooter.
- bream specialist 702

Reels:
- luvias 2506
- stella 1000-2500 (where can I find these for the cheapest price, also whats the line copacity of a 1000)
- maybe a steez or exist 2506 (depending on price)

2500S Vanquish on a Loomis DSR820GLX

Or for the fanboys, 2500 13' Certate on a Daiwa Battler 'Beowolf'

Steez Tornado are around $450 now so that will leave $550 for the reel. Many options in that price range, but if you stretch your budget you could go an Exist from Japan.

Tempting thoughts here. I can get a Nordic stage sharpshooter and a Stella 2500 from about 900 or I was thinking of saving money and getting a luvias but I will see how much money I get from work for the holidays

+1 for the tornado! Solid rod for pulling big fish and gives a great feeling for what your lure is doing! A 2004 certate or exist is a perfect match!
